Meet Shannon Beebe MSW, LISW
I became a therapist because I remember what it felt like to be a struggling teen with no roadmap for what I was going through, feeling misunderstood, and trying to make sense of all of these emotions that no one prepared me for. I didn’t want that to be anyone else’s story. That lived experience is what drives my work every day — and it’s why I show up for my clients the way I do.

My unique counseling approach
I enjoy working with teens and young adults who are looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore the roots of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Whether you are wanting to find peace from past traumas, hoping for improved relationships, healthier communication styles, coping skills that truly work, better self-esteem, or just a better understanding of yourself, I am here to help.
I work collaboratively with you to identify your goals and tailor each evidence-based intervention to fit your needs or to fit the needs of your teen. I believe that what you put into therapy is what you get out of therapy. You will leave each session with practical, helpful tools to use in your day-to-day lives between sessions.
I understand how intimidating, uncomfortable, or scary the thought of starting therapy can be. I am passionate about taking things entirely at the pace you are comfortable with and offering a space where you know you can be exactly who you are without fear of judgment.
Education and Qualifications
I graduated from Ohio University in 2019 with a bachelor of social work degree and obtained my masters of social work degree in 2023. I am an independently licensed social worker in Ohio and have been working as a therapist for over 7 years. I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds with a variety of mental health concerns and diagnoses. I bring warmth, compassion, empathy, direct and helpful guidance, and a little bit of humor to every session.
"Shannon creates such a welcoming and safe space. Her guidance has been invaluable in helping my teen navigate difficult emotions and build confidence."
A grateful parent
